If you use a lot of oranges, lemons, and limes, an electric juicer will save you time. I use it for margaritas, orange juice, and orange sauce for salmon. For years we got by with a lemon squeezer. Then we started spending winter months in some of the citrus-producing states (Florida, Texas, Arizona and California). We’d buy a bag of oranges at road-side stands. The juice was delicious, but it took a while to squeeze each orange since we usually had to quarter them to fit in our lemon squeezer. I was about ready to buy an orange squeezer when I realized it would be easier to fit an electric juicer on the shelf than an orange squeezer in the utensil drawer.
